No

"2GHz Pentium M 760 Sonoma processor,
512MHz of average-speed 400MHz memory,
an ATI Mobility Radeon X300 graphics chip with a standard 64MB of VRAM,........."

http://www.cnet.com/laptops/hp-compaq-nc6230/4505-3121_7-31297917.html

A) Intel Pentium M, model 760; based on the Dothan Core,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_M_microprocessors#.22Dothan.22_.2890_nm.29

533MegaHertz Front Side Bus. (533MHz FSB)

Single-core processor. Mobile processor that is,...how shall we say?

Mediocre.

B) Ram Memory:
512MegaByte amount, at 400MHz, and is an average speed.

Which is DDR2 Sdram, that is SO-DIMM style for Notebook PC's; and operates up to a maximum frequency rate ('Speed'), of 400MHz.
PC2-4200, or PC2-4300; depending on the ram memory manufacturer.

Which isn't anything to write home to Mom about.

C) ATI Radeon X300 graphics chipset, which has 64MB of graphics memory.

Definitely not going to do, what you are trying to do.

No, Johnny; it won't support a 42 inch HDTV, and your internal monitor of the laptop.

In fact, IMHO it won't support just using the HDTV.

My acer laptop screen has broke and i would like to know if its possible to connect it up to my 42" samsung plasma ?

Most laptops have a 15pin D-sub connection that allows you to attach an external display. Most LCD and plasma TV's also have a 15pin D-sub connector to connect a PC to.

Look on the side of your laptop and the back of your TV for this connector and if both have it just find a standard monitor cable to connect them.

Your laptop will have a function key to enable or disable the external display.

I had to fix this problem a couple years ago, it's common on Compaq's. The only way to fix it is to short out the CMOS battery on the motherboard. Doing this voids your warranty, so if you wish to follow that course I cannot tell you exactly where to go, but google's your friend. The other option you have is to call Compaq and open a ticket with tech support. If your laptop is still under warranty, you may even get a new computer.

HP Compaq 6515b laptop: Diplay is blank, Few times it came back after some time, But now it is titally blank,

With an extensive use of the notebook,
some times notebook would store some static charges which
indeed will stop the notebook from powering up or charging
the battery. The procedure to remove this static charges from
the notebook is known as power drain. Performing a power
drain procedure will not effect any personal data or delete
any pictures from the hard drive on your notebook.
I recommend you use Power Drain procedure by following these
steps:

1. Disconnect the AC Adapter.
2. Remove the Battery.
3. Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
4. Reconnect the AC adapter.
5. Turn on the Notebook power.

Laptop motherboards have built-in video graphics chips and therefore you cannot upgrade the video card. There are no expansion sockets available for graphics card upgrades.

I want to use plasma tv as external monitor

Your laptop is not set to enable the external video output.

Most likely, your laptop has a key that says "RGB/LCD" or something similar on it. This key cycles through the various video output options, enabling the laptop's LCD, the external RGB output, or both simultaneously. Most laptops require you to hold down the function key ("FN") when pressing the "RGB/LCD" key to cycle through the options.
