Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
I accidentally read the directions wrong when i tried to update my psp after iput in god of war 2. i took out the game during the update, it said it couldn't be completed and shut off. now i can't turn it on
You accidently bricked your PSP when you terminated the firmware update. When a Firmware update begins it formats the memory location prior to beginning the flash. If you interupt the flash or anything after the flash program erases the firmware memory location, the PSP will not be able to boot.
Send your PSP to Playstationclinic.com and they will restore it for a good price.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
