Printing making grinding noise - Printers & Copiers

My CLP 300 is only a month or so old, and it has just started doing this as well. It is very annoying, and I can't see any reason for it happening.

It's a constant grinding noise through the whole print.

if u use remanu notice the height of lockteeth(don't know exactly what it was called) at 11 o'clock
u must gride it to the height of original catride because too much height push the catride downward so increase the clearance of catride gear and drive gear. the catride gear can't be turn when the load occure while printing make the grindinding noise. sorry about my wrong writing. hope it will help.

In my experience, it was the registration roller causing the grinding noise. See http://my.brainshark.com/Phaser-6300-6350-6360-Grinding-Noise-795590408 for troubleshooting video.

Lexmark C510 is making grinding noises while printing large jobs

I found another posting stating that the culprit was the black toner cartridge. Sure enough I changed our black cartridge and the grinding noise has stopped. No wonder the grinding noise was not happening all the time only when the black cartridge got low. Thanks for the help!

Grinding noise only when printing a large print job

It is passable the grinding noise is coming from one of the toner cartridges in the printer.

Check for any toner cartridges which are stiff or difficult to turn by hand
Replace and refilled toners or compatible toners with original manufactures toners.
If you have alternative toners available replace each toner in turn to see if the cause can be identified to a particular toner.

Canon PIXMA 530 grinds away

I had a persistant grinding noise about 30 seconds after the printer finished printing. It's been going on about 2 months. I did one thing which seemed to work. So try opening the cover on the back of the machine by lifting upward on the gray lever in the middle of the back of the machine. Leave this cover open during and after printing. The grinding noise went away.

Grinding noise when printing and cuts paper

There may be something stuck in the area of the perforation, like a paper clip, paper debris or some foreign material. I would look in that area with a flashlight and see if there is something in the Paper feed roller area.Something may have come loose if you had a paper jam. Let me know.

Loud grinding noice before starting to print

Mine makes a grinding noise when scanning or making copies. As long as everything is working, I just tolerate the noise in which the rest of the staff find amusing at first and then ignore it as I do.

One of the drum cartridges is stuck. Test by removing them one at a time with the printer off, then turning on.
