Question about Tomtom ONE GPS Receiver

Where is the Home Charger supposed to be??

It is mentioned in the book, but can't locate it in my accessories that came with my TomTom 130

The AC home charger usually does not come with the unit. It is purchased separately. However you can charge your tt with the included usb cable. Simply connect the usb cable to your pc and then connect your tt to the usb cable. You will now be able to charge your unit and after installing tt home get updates for your device.

For some reason, I didn't get a home charger for my Tomtom One 130 when I got it for Christmas. Will my Motorolla phone charger work? Also, I cannot understand the diagram for installing it to the...
The plastic suction cup attaches to your windscreen. You can see more of the device in www.tomtom.com

Your Motorola phone charger will not work and it may even damage your GPS! In the package you have a cigarrette lighter adapter for your car - the home charger (AC-charger) you have to purchase separately.

Cannot get our new Tomtom GPS one 130 to show English in instruct
Connect your device with TomTom Home and access the memory (like if it was an external disk)
Create the following 2 files without ant extension in the root:

cleanflash
runclean

It will reset your devide to the original settings.
When starting it will ask you which language you want to use.

When should I use the car charger
You can charge while driving, but I have been told that every so often you should let the battery run flat. If you dont have to put your home address as your home location, enter an address 2 streets away, it will be close enough for you to know your way home or just enter it as one of your favourites under you first name or something.

TomTom Home software appears in a different language

Hi, i bought a tomtom 1 3rd adition from a friend. I didnt have the instruction or box just the actual tomtom and car charger. Every time i press home their address still comes up how do i change this....
On TomTom Go at least: Change preferences/change Home location/ Then select from several options. If you are at your home location then fastest is to select "my location", next easiest is to select "Address", then "Street and number"

Tomtom One 130 shows pic of Tomtom, flashing x, pie chart icon on left after using Tomtom Home.
TomTom Home must have corrupted the TomTom's operating system. That is what that symbol means. Contact TomTom support and tell them what model you have and they will walk you through getting the correct version installed.
