MP3 rocket is in installed on windows 7 will not open, comes up as incompatiable application

Try right clicking on the application and then click "Troubleshoot Compatibility". If that does not work then you can try manually setting the compatibility to an older system by right clicking the application, clicking "Properties", and then going to the "Compatibility" tab. If the previous methods do not work, you can try installing the application in Windows XP Mode if you are using Windows 7 Profesional or up.

How to make compatible with Windows 7

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:)) julyallan01_52.jpg

Vista compatibility problems when trying to install set up program for yumi pro mp4 player v 4.05 get message blocked due to known compatibility problems

Copy the installation to your hard drive.
now take the properties and setup it for windows xp under the tab compatibility.
now run your application with administrative privilage. right click then "Run as Administrator'

Vista's Compatibility assistant is known to have a lot of bug.

if it didn.t work then
Press the keyboard combination "Windows Key +R"
you will have run dialogue box
type in "services.msc"
in the window that appears look for "Program compatibility assistant" and then disable it.
now restart your computer and try installation
it will be fine

its recommended that you switch your os to windows 7 from vista as windows 7 is more bug free and crash is unlikely to happen

Itunes .exe has been set to run in compatibility mode for an older version of windows. i already tried to change version but cant find windows 7 version also turned off compatibility still no luck

Unfortunately, even though I'd turned off compatibility mode for iTunes (by right-clicking the iTunes icon, choosing Properties, clicking the Compatibility tab, and clearing the Compatibility mode checkbox), the program generated this irksome message every time I ran it:

iTunes.exe has been set to run in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows. For best result, turn off compatibility mode of iTunes before you open it.

Sigh. Stupid Windows. Or maybe stupid iTunes. Either way, compatibility mode was "off," but iTunes didn't think so.

Fortunately, I finally found a solution:

1. Make sure iTunes isn't running.

2. Click Start, type regedit, then press Enter.

3. Navigate to this Registry location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

4. Look in the main pane for a key that refers to iTunes. If you find one, delete it, then exit the Registry.

5. Start iTunes. The offending message should be gone!

Check the Sansa website to see if it has the firmware upgrades still - they removed quite a few of them, but it is worth a hsot. also, pay attnetion to their section on the Windows Vista compatibility issues.
