WD-62525 green timer light keeps blinking after lamp replacement

I know my lamp is bad because there are pieces of glass inside the lamp. I replace the lamp but the green timer light keeps flashing. I have tried the reset button as weell as unplug the tv for long periods and still the light keeps flashing. Could it be the ballast and if so how can I check?

Did you let the green light flash for about 70 seconds? It goes thru a self check when plugged in and takes a little time

My Mitsubishi tv model wd-62525 not on the light of timer is linking

If one light is blinking (lamp light?) remove and inspect lamp to make sure it is in correctly and not shattered. If the set has a recessed reset button on front (if set is unplugged and plugged back it should blink green for about 70 seconds and go out) you may have a issue there.

The model indicated here has a host of problems.

If you are tech savvy, get a ohm meter and check all the fuses ,and diodes, they should all read "0" The ones that do read something other then that are bad and will need to be replaced. They will need to be solder back in. Click on the link below to read more:

WD-62525, continous amber lamp light. No picture. Lamp is good.

Hello:

Make sure u replace the lamp cover as the safety switch need to be closed to make the set work. If new lamp did not repair your problem , then it may well be the Ballast Board, Sometimes call the Lamp Driver.

I have WD 62525 timer blinks very rapidl but wont turn on or off

HOwdy;
Try unplugging TV from a/c for 2- 3 minutes. Plug back in, turn TV on. If red light turns on (Lamp may light and go out) suspect bad lamp part # 915P020010.

Good Luck, Big Irish.

Timer light did not stop flash

Lamp is not the issue. It most likely is a your DM card. You most likely have some capacitors that need to be replaced. This is a terrible issue with this unit. Do a google search for "DM" and the model number and you should see hundreds of posts.

There is a tiny reset button to the left of the timer light. Press with a pin or something small, wait 60 seconds. Viola!

TV was working earlier, today came home no green power light no nothing

I looked up the manual online - after you replace the bulb, you need to reset the bulb life timer. Using the TV remote push the menu button, SETUP menu, select the lamp reminder option to reset the hours to zero. That might help the status indicators.

Mitsubishi 62" dlp wd-62525

The lamp is either defective, not connected properly to the wiring or plugs (careful alignment required on the two connections), wrong type bulb, or the front panel is not replaced properly to trigger the panel sense switch (lower right side of panel)
