I haven't used my software in over a year and now it is giving me the prompt to enter my Access key code for the CD rom software(supposed to be on the outside of the CD packaging). I am unable to locate a code that will work. Any suggestions. Thanks, Zena
There is a insert in your cd case on the back of there it will say access code plesse get back with me with this number and i will tell you if it is the right one.

If you are using Futura 2.0.0.x software there is no update yet, but Windows 7 support has been already included into update for Futura 2.5.0.x. You may ask a closest Singer supplier about it.

oh, i hava a bigger problem, my new lap top doesn´t run any of the software, but it is a problem of the disc, i have tried whit different lap tops and no one of them recongnized the disc, is like if the disk was empty. Does someone have a solution for me please??

In embroidery mode, you have to send a design to the machine before the bobbin winder will work.

I have had similar problems in the past.
Do you hear a noise from the embroidery unit when the misalignment occurs ? If so, I suspect that your issue may be that you have some resistance under the hoop. Is there extra material that may be rubbing on the machine or catching somewhere. I have found that if I use some masking tape to keep all of the extra material from hitting any other parts of the machine or dragging under the edge of the hoop this error does not occur. FYI: I also stopped using the "optimize stitch speed" option at the same time. I believe that material dragging was causing the problem, but I still wonder about the stitch speed optimization feature.

Maybe you should try to contact singer south africa and ask them whats wrong, my laptop did the excact same thing switch over to home pc and no problem ever again.
There are now several versions of the basic Futura software and AutoPunch available on the market. The most current is version 1.0.0.2. To determine what version of either software you have, you will find this information around the inside rim of the CD at approximately 4 o'clock. Before loading any of the Options into your computer, check the version and then follow the steps below. The following steps will update your software so that you will now have the latest 1.0.0.2 version of the basic program and all options.
To load base software 1.0.0.0 with AutoPunch 1.0.0.0 or base software 1.0.0.1 with Autopunch 1.0.0.1
To load base software 1.0.0.0 with AutoPunch 1.0.0.1 or base software 1.0.0.1 with Autopunch 1.0.0.0
To load base software 1.0.0.0 or 1.0.0.1 with Autopunch 1.0.0.2
