F0 error - My GE Over displays an F0 error & constantly beeps

My GE Over displays an F0 error & constantly beeps till the Start button is pressed again. Can anybody offer a solution for this ?

My GE Profile wall oven (model JK915) has display problems. It constantly beeps and displays random numbers and button controls. It seems to settle down once it turns on it's own light, but is basically useless for baking anymore. It's only 3 years old. I'll never buy another GE product. These are supposed to be reliable. Makes me wonder about any other product they make. Will their plane engines stop working or sending random signals to the cockpit?

Appu, the F0 error for this built in means there is a shorted or stuck off key. Sometimes this can be resolved by removing the keypad ribbon cable from the board and cleaning the ends with an eraser. If that doesn't work, you want to find out whether its the board or keypad by ohming the ribbon cable, 3 to 4, probes on the conductor side...should read 125 to 1750 ohms while pressing the off key. I keep getting FO code and beeping won't clear

Hello George,

The F0 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F0 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced .

Double wall oven F0 error code

Hello,

The F0 error code means that the control board has detected a defect within the control board itself, the F0 code can be cleared by pushing the CANCEL/OFF button and if it goes away and returns all is well, however if a short time later the F0 returns the control board would need to be replaced.

GE Profile Performance Spectra Range error code F0

F0 - F1 - F7 Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on. Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

F0 error code on ge profile oven

Could be a stuck keypad. Try pressing all pads at random several times each to clear it.
If that does not work the ERC(clock) must be replaced.

you can also put a piece of paper between the ribbon cable where it joins up before the connector. It has been reported that the cable will short in this area. Try that before spending more money since most of the F-codes appear to be cable related.

I was getting only the F0 error code. The wiring diagram inside the stove said F0 indicated a bad off button on the keypanel. There were instructions to check the ribbon cable on certain lines, with values for the resistance. It seemed to check out, so I ordered a replacement and voila, it worked.

An F0 lights and beeps on the pannel for the bottom oven

F0 typically means a shorted OFF key. You can trouble shoot this with an ohmmeter. Turn off the power. Disconnect the ribbon cable. Check flat cable pins 13-14. Normally the ohmmeter should show an open circuit. Press the OFF key. The resistance should be 100 to150 ohms. If all this turns out to be normal, there is probably an intermittent short circuit. Random beeps, oven almost starts itself

The touch pad may be defective. There is a membrane behind the buttons that will cause problems like that. The only cure is to replace the touch assy.
