Re: my pushbutton doorbell activates my neighbor's chime
In the chime box and remote you can change the setting for the remote signal that is picked up( refer to your manual for the correct settings) these will be a set of pin connections in the chime box and in the remote switch that will have to be set to another selection

Heath-Zenith (I beleive they bought DESA) makes a battery remote push button bell that says its compatible with all Heath Zenith chimes. I bought one at Home Depot and it worked for my SL-6195-RX. (an on line doorbell seller and the Home Depot assoc all said it wouldn't work.) UPC is 16963961975. Item also shows a code "11G43" on a sticker on the back of the package.
The contacts in the outside push button unit may need cleaning. They do get dirty over time. If that doesn't solve your problem you can contact the Zenith Company, who is now is the manufacturer for tech service issues. 800-858-8501.
The doorbell buttons and your receiver must be on the same channel. If you will get out the directions that came with your unit, they will describe the process to go through to reset the specific "codes" for your buttons and receiver.
