My Lexmark c534n printer keeps jamming. I have changed the rubber rollers and the photoconductors. However, the paper will not even go up into photoconductor area. The rollers do try to push the papers up, but the paper can't seem to get past the metal bar with the black rollers on it (bar is located just under the black toner slot). What now? It seems like that bar won't turn as easily as it used to.

The fuser rollers might be damaged. Check if the fuser rollers are damaged because if they are they can cause the paper jam, and might need to be replaced.

SOURCE: paper jam

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

Good luck..

SOURCE: PAPER JAM

The problem sounds like your rollers have lost their grip. Remove the paper tray and tip the printer up. Push the red lever on the left of the printer down and you will see the feed mechanism with two wheels. Remove the rubbers on the wheels and turn them inside out. Replace them on the wheels with the worn side now inside and the 'sticky" side out. You should get at least another couple of years worth of use before you need to replace them.

I have a lexmark e238. Keeps showing paper jam light after cleaning rollers even though no paper is in there.

Either paper is moving too slow through the paper path or one of your paper path sensors is not registering. Pull the paper tray out and check to make sure the little plastic sensor is swinging free. That sensor tells when the tray is empty. Follow the paper path thru the printer checking all the sensors to make sure they are "opening" and "closing".

You must reset the supply counter after replacing any individual photoconductor unit. Visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/dk8nHs for the instructions on how to reset the photoconductor page counter. Thanks.

MY PRINTER KEEPS JAMMING THE PAPER AS I TRY TO PRINT SOMETHING. THE PRINTER IS A LEXMARK P4350 ALL IN ONE

First of all check the quality of the paper used, is it of low thickness. if so change with a different type.
If the printing paper is good then the rollers can be moving over with different pressure on the paper making it touch unevenly and so pulling the paper differently.adjust the rollers and if possible tighten so that it touches evenly.
The roller will now move the paper without any side pulling and jamming.

I keep getting a paper jam with message check fuser. Even after I clear it, it just keeps jammimng the paper when it's about to finish feeding it.

On most laser printer fusers there is a black exit switch to detect paper exit. Look for a thin black finger that would be in the middle of where the paper exits. If the paper is stopping as it is coming out of the printer it sounds like the switch broken off. Or popped out of place.

How do i reset a lexmark c534n? It won't let me print because it says there is a paper jam, but there isn't any paper in the machine

There might still be paper in the machine.
Or perhaps a small torn off chip of paper caught on a sensor somewhere.
If you recently had a paper jam, make sure you cleared it properly, and did not leave any bit behind, especially if thpaper tore as you removed it.
Check all doors and remove the toner cartridge to look underneath it.

Good Luck

Lexmark c534 "201.21paper jam"

If you can't find a jam when the error is displayed it's because the pick up rollers are worn and are slipping on the paper or your paper tray guides aren't in place properly. Normally it's the rollers need replacing.

PAPER JAM

Rotate tires. Pull out paper tray. Pull down on red low paper indicator at left bottom. Two rollers come down on axel near center. I pulled off the rubber tire like roller, then twisted the roller inside out and reinstalled it with the fresh side out.
If tires dry out again will probably buy new ones from ebay.
