How do I properly mount my original SanDisk card into my replacement commando smartphone?

on the right side is the protected microUSB port and charging-dock connections, and around back is an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash. There is a movable lock-release to open up the battery cover, which has the same type of rubber O-Ring that is on the USB port and headphone port, to help protect it from the elements. With the 1800mAh battery removed, you can then gain access to the SIM slot and microSD memory card slot.

USB cable does not plug into camera port.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER
If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

"micro" usb port needs to be replaced

Consider NOT using the USB port.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

Acer extensa 5620-6830. I am tring to put digital pictures in laptop and can't find port?

I'm assuming you are trying to place the sd memory chip from your camera into the machine. If the machine has an sd slot, it will be in the front just to the left of the three ports or jacks for headphone, mic, etc... If it doesn't the you will need either a usb cable to attach your camera or an sd card reader that plugs into the usb port. You should be able to get either of these at the same place you got the camera.

No usb port found

If you can't find such on your machine, then it's either disabled, the BIOS is out of date, the OS doesn't support your USB (Examples abound!) or other. I cut my time loss by adding an USB PCI card.
