Question about Rancilio Silvia Espresso Machine
I replaced the thermostat I have descaled my machine. It doesn't trip my GFI outlet. Does anyone know what might be wrong. I temperature surf and the temp of my water is really inconsistent. I can't figure out what is wrong with it? I asked the techs at WLL and they are stumped and suggested I ask around. Hopefully you can help!
My Rancilio Silva is not making the water or steam hot anymore. Is it fairly easy to replace the heating element?

Your Silvia may need to be "primed." If air gets in the intake tube (I inadvertently did this while descaling), it can cause your boiler thermostat to malfunction and superheat the water. You can read how to prime here:
