I just bought the Logitech ClearChat Stereo headphones, and my problem is, that i can't get my microphone loud enough in Ventrilo. All microphone settings are put to MAX on the soundcard, and the boost is ticked as well. I know the microphone was OK yesterday, because I used, my now broken, Logitech USB headset.....
How to solve? :)

realtech hd is your sound device. go into windows control panel and access the sound settings then navigate to voice settings click the volume button, your mic might be muted. also if you want the headphones to work plug them into the plug that your speakers are using (side-note: mics and head phones never need something installed to work as long as your sound device works and your definitely does work, only when the mic is a special interface like USB do you need to install software and/or drivers)
Fixed it: the microphone on the headphone was switched off - it's a bit of a design weakness in the Logitech headset: it's easy to unintentionally turn the microphone off while putting the headset on. The lower half of the right headphone's central medallion is a button - indicated by a crossed out microphone icon.
in skype go to tools>options>audio setting make sue the microphone is logitech and the green bars should start moving as you talk. if no logitech appears or the mic is not producing sound. call logitech for warranty info. if the mic is producing sound below is "make a free skype test call" to see if the program is transmitting.
