Go to control panel>internet options>delete>delete all. On early versions of IE you need to delete categories seperately.

First try to uninstall and again install new Yahoo Messenger. If it still doesnt work, you have to reformat your system. It happened because your system is infected by virus which severely triggered some features of your Yahoo Messenger or maybe your Drivers.
After reformatting your system your YM will surely work.

SOURCE: Using Firefox 3.5.2 brower cant set yahoo mail password default

Open Firefox explorar>click Tools>Click Privacy>Check the Box Firefox will select Remember History. again click Security > Check Password Box Select the box Remember Password for the site.....click the Exceptions Box if there is anysite name appearing remove all...then OK.......finish.......Good Luck

The sign me in for two weeks just means that if you close the browser on the PC you are logged in with then when you revisit the site within a period of two weeks you will not need to enter your password etc. The two week login can be disabled by clicking Sign Out. The sign out heading should be near Hi, (your Yahoo! ID). You might need to do this on the computer you selected "sign me in for two weeks".

Hi, You need to check for viruses/worms on your system and ensure there is no fault with your modem/internet band connection. Try using alternative browsers apart from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari or Google Chrome.

This can just be due to corrupted temp int files. Clear the temporary internet files or browser cache and cookies on the browser that you are using. Restart the computer and check your yahoo mail again. If no go, note any error that you are getting, or indicate what is happening when you attempt to read your emails.
