Question about LG U8150
My daughter's phone has stopped ringing when certain numbers call it. For these numbers, it DOES display that there is an incoming call or text, but DOES NOT show the name she has programmed in. It just shows the phone number. I've had her go through her address book to remove duplicates, as well as erasing the old address book entry and re-entering it. She claims that "sometimes this fixes itself, and then starts again a few days later." What can I do?
On many phones, and this sounds like one, you can assign entries in your phone book to different groups (e.g. friends, family, work, etc) - and then set the phone's ringtone (and other behaviours) depending on which group the caller's number has been assigned to. A starting point might be to investigate whether all the numbers which display this odd behaviour seem to come from the same group. If they do, then you need to have a good look at all the settings for that particular group. A.
