Update with disc model BH100

own BH100 model dvd player (Blue ray/HD player) message indicated we need upgrade. called request upgrade disc, rec disc damaged (split).
Is there a way to secure upgrade by internet? How does it work? do I download a file to a cd or dvd disc and load in player?

any assistance would be greatly apprec.

Download the firmware file and how to document here:
http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp

Follow document to create a disk, and update the firmware.
