SOURCE: Sharp aquos hdtv has sound but shows a white screen

yes and no. That particular tv you have is done for, but if you just purchased it 6 months ago, you are still within you 1 year warranty with sharp. they will ask you to take it to a authorized service center and you need to follow through with the process. about a week or 2 will pass and the service center will deem the unit unrepairable and sharp will replace it if they cant solve the problem. give em call..good luck 2u

SOURCE: hook up speakers to 32 inch lcd hdtv

"Line" level audio output is available at the audio output phono jacks at the top of the rear panel, but not speaker-level output. So, you'll need an amplifier to use in conjunction with your external speakers. (An alternative would be "powered" or "amplified" speakers that have their own amplifier, but often are less satisfactory acoustically). You don't necessarily need to get a full-fledged "receiver" with multiple in's & out's... I simply used an inexpensive stereo amplifier.

Connect the "Audio L - R" jacks on the rear of the set to the "line" or "aux" inputs on your chosen amplifier and speakers. If you go into the set's Menu - Option - Output Select and set it to "Variable", the internal speakers will be disabled, and you can control the volume (and muting) of the audio sent to the amplifier, and still have "armchair" control of the volume as before... but now with better stereo!

I have a non-functional Sharp LC-32D62U (32") TV.

It would be possible if you can go into service menu and write all settings and implement with the new board by going back in and changing what you wrote down.

I have a Insignia 32 inch LCD TV Model number NS-LCD32. It recently started displaying no inputs. The backlight comes on but no inputs/ no sound. Green lines display if you press the menu, input, channel...

The first troubleshooting step would be to measure all the voltages from the power supply to the other circuits boards specially the 5 volts going to the main board. If you have the following: Insignia 6HA0112010 Power Supply, check FU502 for open conditions.
If all the voltages appear normal, then the main board should be replace since is hard to find individual components for a component level repair.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

I have 2 insignias that i changed the dsp board in and it give me a negative picture. how do you get into the service menu and devert it

The service menu is not owner accessible. You can schedule a technician to visit your home by calling 1-888-237-8289 in the U.S. or 1-866-237-8289 in Canada. I hope this helps.

My screen is narrower out of nowhere

You should use your on screen menu and move the down arrow to aspect ratio then press the side arrow to the right to change the picture size to the one most suitable for your viewing pleasure. If this does not solve you problem then you may have problems with the video chip and should call Insignia customer service at 1-877-4289 for service. Hope this helps you with your problem.
