Circuit/System Description
When the transmission is placed into REVERSE, a 12 volt signal is sent to the rearview camera image display module indicating that camera operation is requested. The rearview camera image display module then supplies ignition voltage and ground to the rear vision camera. The rear vision camera sends video information through the rearview camera image display module to the inside rearview mirror through a video signal + and a video signal - circuit. A grounded shielding also wraps the video signal circuits to reduce electronic interference which may degrade the video signal and cause a distorted or otherwise degraded image.

In the instrument panel behind the driver side knee bolster to the right of the steering column

Rear Vision Camera System Does Not Display
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the rear view camera image display module.
Test for less than 1.0 ohm between the ground circuit terminal 3 and ground.
? If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the ignition circuit terminal 2 and ground.
? If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ignition circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, park brake applied, vehicle in REVERSE, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the control circuit terminal 1 and ground.
? If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the control circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
Ignition OFF, connect the harness connector at the rear view camera image display module. Disconnect the harness connector at the rearview camera.
Ignition OFF, test for less than 1.0 ohm between the ground circuit terminal B and ground.
? If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the rear view camera image display module.
Ignition ON, park brake applied, vehicle in REVERSE, test for 5.8-6.2 volts between the 6-volt reference circuit terminal A and ground.
? If less than the specified range, test the 6-volt reference circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the rear view camera image display module.
? If greater than the specified range, test the 6-volt reference circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the rear view camera image display module.
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the rear view camera image display module.
Test for less then 1 ohm between the shield ground circuit terminal 10 at the rear vision camera display module harness connector and terminal D at the rear vision camera harness connector.
? If greater than the specified range, test the shield ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, test for less than 1 volt between the signal circuit terminal 9 and ground.
? If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage.
Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal 9 and ground.
? If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to ground.
Test for less then 1 ohm between the signal circuit terminal 9 at the rear vision camera display module harness connector and terminal C at the rear vision camera harness connector.
? If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance.
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the inside rearview mirror.
Ignition ON, test for less than 1 volt between the following signal circuits at the inside rearview mirror harness connector and ground:
• Video + signal circuit terminal 6
• Video - signal circuit terminal 7
Test for infinite resistance between the following signal circuits at the inside rearview mirror harness connector and ground:
? If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage.
• Video + signal circuit terminal 6
• Video - signal circuit terminal 7
? If greater than the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to ground.
Test for less then 1 ohm between the following signal circuits:
• Signal circuit terminal 12 at the rearview camera image module and terminal 6 at the inside rearview mirror.
• Signal circuit terminal 11 at the rearview camera image module and terminal 7 at the inside rearview mirror.
? If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance.
If all circuits test normal, test or replace the rear vision camera.
Ignition ON, park brake applied, vehicle in REVERSE, verify a clear rear vision image is displayed on the radio.
? If a clear rear vision image is not displayed, test or replace the inside rearview mirror

The projection television, which magnifies images displayed on cathode ray tubes (CRTs) for the colors red, green, and blue using lenses and projects the magnified images onto a screen, includes a convergence control apparatus capable of adjusting the convergence while an input image signal is displayed, the convergence control apparatus including: an image signal decoder which processes the input image signal to generate a data signal, horizontal and vertical synchronous signals, and a start signal indicating the start of either the horizontal or vertical synchronous signal; a convergence control unit which normally projects an image signal output from the image signal decoder onto the screen and performs convergence control using a predetermined region of the screen displaced from a visible region of the screen according to a convergence control command; and a main microcomputer which inputs the convergence control command to the convergence control unit when the start signal is input from the image signal decoder, stops the convergence control when a completion signal is input from the convergence control unit, and performs a control operation to continuously display the image signal during the convergence control.

Will my toshiba tv bought in uk work in usa


There are two things you need to know regarding your TV.

Power requirements and broadcasting standards.

1:POWER
Look on the back of the TV and find the sticker or label that mentions the INPUT VOLTAGE.

If it reads 220-240V 50Hz then it will not work in the USA.

If it reads 110-240V 50-60Hz then it MAY work in the USA. At least you know it will work if you change the plug on the mains cable.

2: BROADCASTING
In the UK, broadcasts use the PAL system to display images on the screen. In the USA, broadcasts use the NTSC system to display images on the screen.

You need to check the manual that came with your TV to see if it is capable of receiving an NTSC signal. This signal is used in everything in the USA from PVRs, to DVD/HDD recorders, satellite systems, public access and cable systems.

If your TV meets the power and broadcast requirements then it should work.

Keystone not working

The automatic keystone adjustment may not be carried out correctly

because of the ambient temperature and the installation

conditions of the projector and the screen. In such cases, correct

the keystone manually.

• When the projector is projecting images where acceleration is

present, such as in a vehicle and aircraft, the automatic keystone

adjustment may not function correctly. In such a case, set AUTO

KEYSTONE in the INSTALLATION menu to OFF and correct the

keystone manually.

• You can correct the vertical keystones. However, their adjustment
ranges are limited in such correction.

When the keystone adjustment is carried out, the adjustment

value is indicated. Note that this value doesn't mean a projection

angle.

• The allowable range of the adjustment value in the keystone

adjustment varies depending on the installation conditions.

• When the keystone adjustment takes effect, the resolution

decreases. In addition, stripes may appear or straight lines may

bend in images with complicated patterns. They are not due to

product malfunctions.

• Noise may appear on the screen during the keystone adjustment

because of the type of the video signal being projected and the

setting values of the keystone adjustment. In such cases, set the

keystone adjustment values in the range where the image is displayed

without noise.

• When the keystone adjustment is carried out, the image may not
be displayed correctly because of the type of input signal.

I have a tv model # WS-65315. I would like to know if I can hook up a Blueray player and still get HDMI quality?


No, your tv is strictly a Standard Definition one. Even it can receive a HD signal, it is downscaled internally to SD so the image would look exactly like from a low quality dvd player (that's because the internal converter is a cheap one) For best image quality use the converter from the BluRay and the Component connectors.

Does this tv have a digital tuner? i thought it did because it said hdtv on it when I bought it in 2004. but I just bought a digital antenna and i'm getting nothing but snow after i scan for channels. is...


Sorry to say, your HDTV-Ready - Requires separate receiver to view HDTV signals. SDTV (Standard Definition) - has built-in digital receivers/decoders and do not require the purchase of any separate components in order to display digital signals. It provides lower image quality than EDTV or HDTV, but higher image quality than analog TV. SDTV is displayed using an aspect ratio of 4:3. I hope this helps and good luck.

you just need to enable the 2nd monitor in display properties, right click on desktop and select properties then settings and right click on the 2nd display select attach.

or look at the keyboard press FN and look at the F1/f12 keys, one of them will turn the external display on or swap between outputs.

NEC LT35 color problem


If you're trying to project video, then the unit needs professional service. If you're trying to project from a computer, you may have a loose display cable, broken pins in one or both ends of the display cable, or broken conductors (wires) within the display cable. The computer sends its image information as a template of RED image components, GREEN image components and BLUE image components with the projector overlays to create the complete image with blended color values. (The computer also sends HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL synchronization signals, but those don'e affect the color content of the projected image.) That's why I'm suspicious of the display cable, conductors or pins.

IS the screen white retrace lines ? Have you looked into the CRT lenses while they are on with a signal applied through the input to see if an image is displayed in the lens lens of the crt? Let me know what the answer is to these two questions and we will go to the next level.

Sharper Imaage


This is an SVGA projector with a max resolution of 800X600. Even though it can accept higher resolution signals, they are scaled down to 800X600 which causes degradation and artifacting of the displayed image. Obviously setting your computer's resolution to 800X600 will result in the best image the projector is capable of. Standard definition video (480i, 480p, S-Video or composite) signals should also display very well. High definition signals like 720p and 1080i get scaled down to 800X600 with the same issues as a higher resolution computer signal.

One thing that can have a dramatic impact on the quality of your display if you are using Windows XP or Vista is tuning your ClearType settings here:
