It appears your timer/controller has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

The pump will operate for 5 to 10 seconds and stop. 2 or 3 minutes later it will pump again for a few seconds. It takes a long time to drain the machine.

Drain the machine. Then turn power is off at the wall socket. Then tip machine back against the wall as far as you can. Get down under front right of machine & remove the wires going to the drain pump. Next remove the drain pump by turning it 90 deg clockwise. There is a white clip near the top edge of pump on R.H. side - hold that out while you turn it. Once it is out check pump & up in the pump outlet hole for obstructions. Put pump back with wiring plug facing R.H.side of cabinet then rotate 90 deg anti clockwise. Re attach wires and stand machine up.

How do you get the water to drain in the Malber WD100 washer/dryer combo?

Hi. I''m assuming you are referring to a WD1000.
To initiate the drain cycle: Rotate far right knob CLOCKWISE to Position 4. It may take 30-45 seconds to recognize the knob's new position, but then it will begin an 11 minute Slow Tumble/Pump Out cycle. During this cycle you'll see the internal drum slowly rotate CW for 60 seconds, pause, then rotate CCW for 5 secs - then repeat. All this time the pump will run and you'll hear water running down the drain. When you hear no more water you can rotate same knob to "straight up", and stop the machine. To turn power off, press the rightmost button.

The filter is located at the bottom front of washer.
Remove the kickstrip at the bottom, by levering off.
Unscrew filter anti-clockwise to remove and clean..
Be careful when removing filter, as there will be water come out.Lay the drain hose down into a bowl or similar to drain off excess water.

Spin cycle has stopped working...

If you have not already done so, then check the pump filter.
This should be behind a drop down flap at the bottom front right of washer.Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove.
If pump and filter o/k, then the next step is to check the brushes for wear in the motor, change if less than 3 or 4mm long.

Machine stopped mid cycle, have removed clothing from it but can't persuade it to drain water out. have no manual, any suggestions?

There should be a filter located at the bottom front right of washer behind a drop down cover or panel.
Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
Hope this helps.

Zanussi Aquacycle 1050. My washing machine seemed to stop spinnin

Locate the filter at the botton front right of washer, behind a drop down cover.
Unscrew anti- clockwise to remove and clean.
If still no go, then you need to check the brushes in the motor.
Hope this helps.

Washer takes longer than it should to complete cycle, seems to add minutes. at end, clothes are very wet and i have to do 10 minute spin cycle just to get water out

I would recommend that you clean the pump filter.
This is usually located at the bottom right front of washer.
To clean unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

You may have to remove a plastic cover at bottom of washer to reveal the filter.
Hope this helps.

My GE Wizard Washer will agitate or spin for a very short time.

replace the transmission. this job is better done after a few dozen bottle of your favorite whiskey. Check the timer controls to ensure timer is advancing properly. tranny's are notorious on ge's for this sort of problem as well as inner basket drive blocks coming loose. ge makes alot of great appliances, this just happens to be one of them that isn't. i trust their jet engines too, although hard to work on them from 30,000ft.

Hotpoint Washing Machine (W540) stopped working, LEDs flash....?

You must get the filter out, as there is a very good chance that this is the prob, keep unscrewing it and try to move it about, then screw it back in again , and then out again, hopefully this will dislodge whatever it is that is holding the filtter in.
Plz rate thiese comments.
Thanks.
