Question about Sprint PPC 6700 Bluetooth Headset Headset
I got a 2gb SD card and inserted it to the ppc-6700 phone after buying the phone brand new from sprint. It worked at first, then about 10 minutes later it locked up the phone. It does not allow for any buttom to be active or even receive calls. Nothing works. The only thing I can do is remove the SD card and then it works. What can cause this? Is the phone a defect or the SD card? What would you advise or what can be a solution. Have you heard of this problem with the phone.
This is a common problem with the PPC6700. It is not your SD card. It is the phone trying to read from the SD slot and the card may be temporarily missing. This is due to the fact that the card does not "lock" in the cardslot properly. What i've done to fix my ppc from locking up (forever ago and I've not had the problem since) is put a piece of tape over the slot to secure the card.
I haven't had a problem since I've applied the tape and can't even tell I put the tape there anyway.
