Re: Xbox 360 won't recognize my controller!
Turn on the X-Box, turn on the controller, press the "Find" button on the X-Box, It's the 3/8" ROUND button on the consol. Press the find button on the controller. It's the 1/8" round button next to the LB button.

If you have an xbox slim model then there is a button above the USB slots at the bottom. Press Start and Back on the controller until the center button lights up. Then press the button above the two USB solts and hold it for a couple secs.
If you have n old xbox there should be a simliar button some where.
Also if you bought one of the charging packs for the controller, use the cord that came with it.
Thank you for your time, Good luck and I hope it works.
You might have to replace the batteries in the controller, as if the battery life is low the controller will have issues syncing to the xbox 360.
Just in cause, To sync the controller to the xbox 360, you must turn on the controller using the xbox guide button and then press the Wireless Sync button right next to the Controller Charging Port. Then you must press the sync button on the xbox 360. You must do this semi-quickly, or the sync process will not complete.
Lastly, You also might have a faulty controller, I suggest you go back to the store you got it from and see if they will replace the faulty controller.
make sure you press the find button on the 360 and the one on the controller.
on the 360 it is a small circle bellow the disc tray and to the right of the two memory slots.
on the controller it is on the top its small and circlular with three semicircles near it.
if it still doesnt work then try to synce up with another persons console. if the controller still doesnt then you need a new one. if it does then use their controller to sync up with your console. if it still will not sync up with YOUR console.
Sounds like the sync button is probably stuck. You should tap it a few times with something pokey like a pin and see if that helps, if not the contact inside broke off and the easiest thing would be to replace it.
Did you try to press the sync button on both the XBOX and the controller? This should make them connect after they take a second to find out that their searching for eachother. If this doesn't work then you should call into Microsoft and talk to them because the sync system might be faulty. Try the controllers on another XBOX before calling just to make sure though.
If your controller is just blinking you must press the small button on your xbox and at the same time press the small button on the back of your xbox controller and the xbox will pick controller signal.
