Everything back in place.. Bad battery. Just a coincidence.. Happens

2 batteries side by side. Positive off 1st battery goes to scooter, then link neg from 1st batt to pos of second batt. Then negative from second battery to scooter.

Hooking up 2 batteries (IN SERIES) will give you 24 volts. First make sure the 2 batteries are exactly the same. Do not use mismatched batteries. Hook the POSITIVE of first battery to the NEGATIVE of the second battery. Then hook your LEADS ( hot and ground) to the 2 remaining posts. That will give you 24 volts. When charging the batteries with a charger, hook the charger up to the LEAD POSTS.

One wire should go to the battery and one should go to the starter.

well the best way is keep the amp hooked up how it is now and on your amp there is a + and a - for a cap hook up the negative to the negative for the battery and the positive to a fuse like with a 60 amp fuse then the other end of the fuse link goes to the battery

assuming this is a factory alarm concern you will need the assistance of a professional with a scan tool in order to reprogram the computers

however, since the flashers flash, I am assuming this is an aftermarket alarm and you do not have the remotes

therefore, look under the dash for a little black box that is probably zip-tied

unplug the connectors and all should be resolved

the black wire goes to - and the red goes to + for 12 volts. If you want 24 volts you need to add another battery and run a jumper wire from the - of the first battery to the + of the second battery and hook the white wire to the - of the second battery. Here is a picture to help you.

if it is 2 x 12v you connect to one of the batteries and keep the rev of the second car at 2000rpm for 10-15 min, then you connect to the second battery and do the same, you have to disconnect both jumper cables before you connect to the second battery, as long as you only are connected to one battery at a time you can jump start a car with 24v , basically recharging one battery at a time

To get 24 volts from two batteries they are wired in series. A wire is connected from the "+" terminal of the first battery to the "-" terminal of the second battery. Your trolling motor is connect to the "-" terminal of the first battery and the "+" terminal of the second battery. You will be operating at 24 volts.

Secondly, is this the power indicator lights on an amplifier that won't go off after being shut down? If it is, make sure the remote turn on lead is hooked to a switched source and not a constant 12v one.
