Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
There is a piece of fabric insulation that goes around the drum on the front side of my dryer that has come loose . I have tried to reinsert it but it keeps on coming back out. Please let me know how this can be fixed
You will need to remove the front panel and the front bulk head. after that you will see that there are clips that need to be pushed down to hold the fabric (felt) down. You need to make sure that the felt isn't torn. If it isn't torn then all you need to do is take a flat head screw driver pry the clips up and put the felt back on and push the clips back down
