How do I transfer photos to my PC?

What make and model camera? With most cameras, you control the transfer from the PC.

If your camera uses a memory card of some type, you might want to consider not connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

How do I transfer my pictures to show on facebook ?

You need a computer. You need to transfer the photos from the camera to the PC via the Interface Cable IFC-400PCU and the power shot software that came on the cd. You may be able to get a card reader device and plug the memory card from the camera in the correct memory card slot of the card reader and then browse the photos via the upload photos browse in facebook on the computer.

Canon PowerShot S51S camera, trying to transfer photos from computer onto the memory card so we can use the card in a digital photo frame? Don't know how to transfer?

you have to use the data cable (which one come with your camera) to store pictures to your XP/Vista PC. Just connect the cable into your camera and PC, your PC detected your camera automatically as an drive, then you can transfer pictures.

File Error now shows in camera for rotated photos from PC.

The camera will not display photos that have been edited by something else. Rotating counts as editing. Just opening a photo and then saving it without doing anything else counts as editing.

Be sure that you plug original Olympus USB cable directly into USB port on mother board (ussualy on the back side of PC) not on the front pannel hub and not into extention USB cable.
