Question about Samsung HLP4663W 46" Rear Projection HDTV

2 lamps in 2 days??

My daughter bought a Samsung rear projection tv at the NEX on base in Italy. The lamp was replaced when she brought it back to the states and after about 10 minutes of an awesome picture, the lamp failed. Any suggestions????

Yeah, you probably bought a cheap imitation of the phillips lamp you were supposed to buy...did u get it 4 real cheap?...either that, or u have my same problem which is a faulty ballast.

Hlr5667 lamp light lites and bright lamp in back comes on but no picture and then turns off after 2 or 3 minutes

My tv turns on for about 30sec but will not stay on first it blanks out but you can still hear what is coming on then all 3light blink and the sound goes away then I have to turn it back on

Tv stays on for couple of minutes and then shuts off


Hear any grinding or motor noises,pictures flashes or flickers in black and white?All these cause are the death of a colors wheel.Must replaced the colors wheel.When was the last time,this tv replaced it projection lamp?1 1/2 or 2 years the projection lamp was replaced,tv on and in used like 4 or 5 hours a day.The projection lamp life is over.Require a new projection lamp.

Yes,tries websites like Tvrepairworld.com,Partstore.com,Ebay.com to buy a projection lamp for the replacement.Tv have "LAMP"indication LED light is flashing or staying on.If the projection lamp on the tv now,been in used 4 or 5 hours a day watching the tv.The projection lamp has not been replace the last 1 1/2 or 2 years on the tv.The projection lamp life is over,require changing.The tv also making clicking noises,the Ballast board also dead,require changing too.The Ballast board help to ignite the projection lamp.

How do I replace the lamp in a Samsung HLN567W tv?


You should see small trap door on Letf hand side in the Back of TV remove screws holding it there, behind it is Lamp remove 2 screws holding Lamp in remove and install New Lamp.
