Sounds like you are not getting water to machine or it is not recirculating. Check for water and recirculation noise while running.

first thing to replace is the fill valve.check to see if there is power supplied to the valve when the unit is off.if there is then replace control board

Hello- The water inlet valve is stuck open and must be replaced.  . Part is 25-40$ and is fairly easy to install. Let me know if this info helps- have more if needed.- Thanks- Ed

yes due to voltage fluctuation you need to change the fuse.....

I lost all respect for whirlpool today, they dont sercive out of warranty dishwashers byt apparently they Have a companies the refer to. This was only after checking the manual and internet for a solution to my clean lught blinking and the dishwasher not starting.

Here is the 105 dollar answer this was the cost of the service call. No parts required only and undocumented conbination of keystrokes that basically does a reset and all should work well.

press heated dry and high temp was together until all the lights on the unit light up then hit cancel. and presto
