Question about Child Craft Crib 'n Double Bed

Open Question

I have a Chesapeake Bay Collection #36101 Crib n' Double (Child Craft) that I would like to convert from a toddler bed to a double bed. Is there a "conversion kit" that I can order? The directions indicate that I need a "Hook-End" style full size bed frame (model 6444). Any idea where I can get this?

When it comes to Child Craft products crib conversion rails they can get the low down for you. Give them a call or email - very prompt service and knowledgeable. I have a discontinued crib and NO CRIB #. With a little bit of work though Baby's Own Room got the answers for me and I promptly ordered the conversion rails I needed.

Lost instructions to assemble child craft crib

Go to http://www.childcraftindustries.com click Customer Service and then click CRIB ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS ...plug in your model number (11971) and it will let you download or view a PDF (Adobe) set of instructions. When you click the instructions it will ask you to OPEN or SAVE. Click save and save it to your computer. View anytime. I suggest printing a copy and keep it with the crib. Enjoy!

Is there any way I can convert the Ariel crib into a toddler bed?It was advertized as a 3 in 1 but now that I am ready to convert it I don't think it is...maybe it only converts to a double bed??

Per the companies website (storkcraft.com) it doesn't look like the Ariel is a 3 in 1 but a 2 in 1. The manual is here
http://www.storkcraft.com/docs/all/04588-43.pdf
and it mentions converting to a twin bed, but not to a toddler bed.

Possibly put the mattress all the way down and remove the smaller side rail for a 3 sided toddler bed. Make sure the frame is sturdy enough without the 4th side.

Converting to a toddler bed

That's all there is to it. I also took the wheels off so it wouldn't move quite as easily. And, also because my child was tiny for her age and that removed another few inches she had to climb up into the bed.
