IS SONY SPEAKER VGP SP1 INPUT CONNECTION DIFFERENT FROM VGP SP2 SPEAKER CONNECTION

There may be many different power supplies that will work for your speaker system, but they must comply with the following:
1. The output voltage of the power supply should be correct as what the speaker system requires. (seems like 12 V in your case)
2. The specified maximum current output of the power supply should always be a higher value than the Amperage spec of the speaker system.
3. The output wires or pins of the plug on the power supply should correspond to the (+) and (-) on the power input of the speaker system.

A multimeter will come in handy to determine a power supply's output voltage and polarity.

When charging lap top it says plugged in not charging.

Power supplies can go bad as well as battery. You need an ohm meter to check the voltage on your charger. You didn't mention what model of laptop you have. Then can be different voltages but there is generally a label on the box the cable comes out. It will show in inside and outside ring. One will be labeled positive (+) or one negative (-). If you have a voltage meter you can put the black on negative and the red lead on positive and read if there is a voltage output.

My Sony Bravia KDL-46V5100 will not turn on. No red light bottom left corner

Look in the circuit board area where the power cord mates with it for capacitors that have bulging tops (instead of the flat tops that are normal). If you see even one, you need to replace all the large capacitors othe power supply section (normally around 5 or 6).

you must measure the output from your power supply see the diagram attached in the box. If some Voltage like +5vdc is missing you must replace the power supply. If the Monitor NOT turn ON try to test in another computer more easy. or go to the repair shop.Use the bottoms from the monitor and execute from the MENU make test.
God bless you

I cant install them?

The CA-2016 desktop 2-piece system it is a USB powered amplifier that draws the power through a USB cable. No batteries or AC power source/wires are required which leaves the desk top clean. The speaker system is magnetically shielded and has a LED power indicator. This being said setup the speakers plug in the USB cable, notice if the LED power indictor light is on. Adjust volume control on speakers and on your computer ( make sure your not muted ). PC's have a lot of different media players that can and will effect the volume control so if one or more of those items are adjusted to low volume or muted, there will be little to no output to your speakers.

The style of power supply is different from a universal power supply. A universal power supply won't fit in the slot properly.

This website has it for fairly cheap:

I have Bose® Companion® 2 Series I computer speakers. I need to replace the adapater and want to know if speakers accept +ve or -ve polarity voltage. Thanks!

Each device is different.
If the receptacle for the plug is not marked, you have few options.
I suggest the following.
Go buy the exact same setup from a store you can easily return it to.
Take the whole box to Radio Shack and explain that you need a power supply to replace the power supply in the box. They will sell you one, plug and all, for about $10-15.
If you have a DVM (Digital Volt Meter), you can check the voltage and polarity yourself, and buy what you need, test it out, and install it.
