Need Recovery CD for EVO D300s

I researched your problem with not having your restore CD. You need to go back to the vendor that being HP to get the CD's from them. I found a link that should get you started on getting the restore CD you need. Either click on the link or copy and paste it into your web browser. From there I would then log in and hopefully you have an account set up already and then either contact their tech support via phone or email to get some replacement restore CD's. The link is below:

If you have the Original CD then insert in the CD Drive and boot and follow the instruction if not
Start up your Computer and Press the F10 key during boot at the beginning it will take you to option to restore the computer to factory default

Something definitely has been "bumped" pretty good,did you check to make sure the RAM was seated good? On occassion,the processor itself may have been jolted/unseated Did you try to do a system recovery? or Last Good Config?

For boot from disk first you have to set first boot device option in BIOS.
for that when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key to enter in bios.
Then go to boot menu then set first boot device as your cd/dvd rom.
then save settings then insert recovery diks in rom then check.
Then it boot from disk if your disk and cd.dvd rom works fine.

Can you get into Windows? If so, go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.

If you cannot boot in you need the recovery console CD. Search for XP Recovery Console ISO in google - burn to disc, boot from CD and press R to enter Recovery Console.

i think you need to take your laptop to computer shop for repairing. your system's operating system might be crash so you need to do either recovery or do a fresh installation of opearting system by putting the os cd in your cd/dvd drive.
