Programing a Honeywell T8011R Programable Heat Pump Thermostat

Hi, I am looking for instructions on how to program the above named thermostat for a 5-2 Day operation. The installation guide references Form No. 69-1143 (not included with the unit). I tried looking it up on the internet but had no luck. Can you please help? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Look real good at the terminal block. Look at both the left side and the right side of the terminal block. O should be there! You probably do not own a heat pump. Also have patients when programing the thermostat!

How do I connect the two thermostat wires from a Honeywell R8184G4009 to a programable thermostat. My old thermostat is not marked.

On the Protectorelay Oil Burner Control R8184G4009, you connect the two thermostat wires @ "T" and the other "T". On the ACE Smart Temp Universal programable therostat, connect one wire to "Rh" and the other wire to " "W". Be careful if you are using this thermostat for A/C. In that case, make sure there is no jumper between "Rh" to "Rc".

Removed my non programable Honeywell RT 5220D replaced it with a Honeywell RTH6350D to run my Goodman Heat Pump. First I labeled the wires then connected wires as follows: AUX, G, C, O/B (orange wire)...

Leave the factory jumper between R & RC. Connect the wires to the new stat just as you have them labeled. Use a piece of thermostat wire to make a jumper from AUX to E terminals. Your new thermostat should give you instructions on how to access the installer set up. You are going to set it up as heat pump with aux. I see this is 2 days old but if you need any help let me know.

My thermo uses B and O terminals for damper control what programable thermo do I use to replace?

Hi,
Any thermostat that says that it can be used for heat pump applications will have the B and O Terminals.
Make sure that you wire the thermostat exactly as the old one was and set the thermostat up for a heat pump so that the B and O terminals are used.

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

Thanks for using Fixya!!

After RTH6400 installation heat strip is no longer actuated

http://yourhome.honeywell.com/Consumer/Cultures/en-US/Products/Thermostats/Do-It-Yourself/Programmable/5-1-1/Default.htm look at the very last part of thius page and you will see that the particular thermostat does not work for heat pumps tha have auxillary heat. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news but you need to upgrade the selection to make it work right.
