No sound will come out of my jvc hx-z1 stereo.

Have tried everything except taking the cover off and looking on the inside, but all connections are connected properly, just can't get any sound to come out.

Check the connection of the wire from the speaker to the audio stage, and also check the speakers if it is good. If there is a good connection of the wire and the speaker is also good. Now procceed checking the audio stage of your unit if there is a bad capcitors of loose solder of the lead, you can also check the power transistors.

The power supply is bad. This is not something that you can replace. IT has a bad capacitor on it.

My JVC HX-Z1 cd player not working, no sound when disc is playing

Please try another good disc on your player. If nothing change , get your lens cleaned by cd lens cleaner. Repeat cleaning 2-3 times and retry it back. If still problem , please replace your lens with new one.

Jvc hx-z1 will not output sound to speakers

if you have old speakers laying around the house try to see what happens, if you connected the good speaker and still has no sound then the internal amp maybe is bad. Make sure it is not muted also.LOL

JVC HX-7 (protect)

The problem is that the output amplifier section has a problem and the protection circuits are shutting down the system to prevent further damage. This should be a simple repair for any local service shop. If you can't find someone local, look up at the JVC website for an authorized service center. Use your zip code to locate the closest one.
