SOURCE: weak flame in intertherm furnace

Ok, so we can rule out the ignitor. (standing pilot systems can develop problems that will cause such symptoms.)

Check the gas pressure, make sure you are getting 11 to 14 PSI.

You need that after the regulator all the way to the manifold.

Also check for cracks in the heat exchanger, causing the wind from the blower to distort the flame pattern enough to cause improper contact with the flame sensor.

Make sure the burners and flame channels are clean of rust, and dibri build up, allowing the flame to properly contact the sensors.

SOURCE: Intertherm furnace pilot won't light

There should be a reset button in the upper chamer next to the fan motor. In the middle ,push in on the center red button to reset it, this tripps because it says I,m not gettig enough air flow due to a plugged or dirty fliter located on the front cover or door.

SOURCE: Intertherm M2RL-080 : Furnace LIGHTS and burn,

Hi, you first of all replace the thermostat which can sometimes be the cause of the clicking noise. Since you have changed the limit switch and the blower motor, consider changing the thermostat to see what happens and if the clicking continues, you have no choice than to change the circuit board..

Located on the schematic on the inside of the furnace door should be a key for the blink sequence. 2 short blinks then 4 long ones would be a code 24 on that data plate

Module doesnt blink

Generally a control module won't diagnose that it is bad. The fan switching in heat mode occurs via timer in the board. So either run the fan on all the time from the thermostat, or replace the control module.

This sounds like it may be a control board issue. If the thermostat has been changed, and the unit operates correctly after it has been reset, then I am thinking the circuit board in the unit is faulty. When the unit stops working, check for a blinking or steady red light on the circuit board. Alot of the time this will be on or blinking and there will be a legend that tells you what each light stands for. This can help you troubleshoot the issue.
