Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Adding/deleting/synching When i access the player through 'my computer'- shouldn't there be a folder there called 'music'? I see the video and voice folders- when i try to add a 'music' folder, its says there is already one there- but where is it?. I'm having problems understanding how to control the WMP 10- I got my player a few weeks ago so i'm slow to catch on. Every time I plug in to the USB, WMP just tries to add everything it finds on my computer. How do I control what goes on the player? Shouldn't it just be as easy as dropping and dragging into a folder through 'my computer'? All of my music is mp3 or WMA- yet I have lots of 'update subscription to synchronize' errors. I've heard that sometimes the problem is in the wripping process from cds, but I have a new batch of WMA's bought from walmart that won't synch. Terribly frustrating- it should be a simple process that I just can't find the answer to.

Can't delete folders. response is devise not responding

to delete files there are 2 ways to do this.(1) first is with the on and facing you. on top the is the black menu switch. (2)hold down until it reads play music, and release (3) cycle either way until it reads delete.(4) cycle the switch until it reads del / push switch in (5) cycle to voice (6) push switch in to delete files. (cycle to exit and push switch again it should go to your music.

Second way is to plug it into a computer with plug and play.with the Trio MP3 on, the computer should open up a menu, chose open files (2) the screen should have music, voice and other files on the display. chose the voice file and click it open. use the mouse to delete files / or point and use the key board delete key to delete files. IF PLUG and Play does not open up goto MY Computer and openit up. drop down to the removeable disk and click open. you should be where you can delete the voice file. good luck and have fun.

I can't find my songs or hear them

I came across the same problem with my Muvo V100. It appears that the unit has a folder access limit of some kind (seems to be 24 folders not sure what detrmines the ones it chooses). I synch with Windows media player and it creates a folder called Music in the root. Within that folder it places sub folders named for the band that the music is from. Within those folders it creates yet further sub folders with the name of the CD the music came from and then finally within those it places the MP3 or WMA files. It appears there may be too many sub folders for the Muvo to be able read all the music. I took all of the MP3 and WMA files and pulled them out to the main Music folder. I then deleted all of the sub folders named for the bands and the albums. When I start the Muvo now it allows access to all of the songs. There may be a way within Windows media player to configure the synch so it doesn't create all of these sub folders. I've not checked. If it is then it would eliminate the manual work of pulling the music files out to the main Music sub folder.

Hard to tell without a model number, but in general:
  1. Connect your player to the computer.
  2. Launch Windows Explorer.
  3. Select and delete the unwanted music, pictures or video files under Philips. For voice recordings, select and delete the unwanted recording files in the Voice folder.
