Question about A & A Manufacturing Ramsond 40D Plasma Cutter Inverter
I can not get any air or sizzeling noise/ flame at the torch tip. There is continuity through the switch but I get no power when bypassing the switch. Any thoughts? Thanks Nick
From inside the machine follow the wires coming from the front panel control connection. Look closely for you will most likely find either a broken, disconnected or loose wire. The wires from the front panel connection run 1st to a small PCB( 1"x2" roughly) mounted vertically at the bottom front right of the machine frame, you may want to remove that pcb to get a closer look the connections. Wires then leave that PCB and run to a snap in connector on the front left side of the front bottom PCB, check the wiring that terminates in that snap in connector.
