The number panel will be visible. Use the new number key arrangement to enter the security code. This would be 1 number for 1 key instead of 2 numbers for 1 key when panel door is closed.

I have a adt simon 2 alarm system which is no longer monitored by adt. I accidently pressed the phone test button twice and now it continually beeps. How can i cancel the phone test, I've tried...

Get the front cover open by pushing the tab at the top of the panel down while pulling on it. When the cover is down enter the 4 digit master code using the red numbered keys. On the left you will fine a small menu that list different "options". You want to turn "option 1 off." To turn off option 1: Hit the delete key then the option button one time for option one finally push the bigger button in the left bottom corner. I think it's labeled enter or something to that effect. You can listen to the prompting of the panel to know exactly which one to push. After that close the front flap and no more beeping will happen. You will still get the siren in the event of an alarm but trouble conditions and entry exit beeps will be no more. I hope that helps!

The PW or code to enter with the remote is 12888. You MUST have a remote, or the unit is worthless. The remote may not look exactly like how it appears in any manuals. My remote is the original and it was a stark difference in appearance, although having all the correct and needed buttons.
Code may not initially work, depending on how any configurations may have previously been setup. Try the following steps to reset configuration.
  • Remove the 3 screws to open the unit up.
  • Remove the CMOS button battery.
  • Short the battery contacts for 30 seconds. (I also tested shorting the contacts while powering the unit on to see if that had an effect. It will not damage the unit, and it also reset the DVR, but I recommend only doing the power on method as a last resort.)
  • Insert CMOS battery.
  • Power unit on and wait for display to show firmare version and all HDD info. after about 30 seconds the cameras and locations should appear. If they do not, Press 'MENU' 2x times, and wait for the cameras and names to appear.
  • Press 'MENU' on remote. When menu appears, press 'DOWN' 2x times to get to setup utility and press 'ENTER'
  • You should see an "Admin" and "guest" accounts. "admin" should be already highlighted, but if it is not, use the directional buttons to highlight the "Admin" account and press 'ENTER'.
  • Enter the code 12888 and press 'ENTER'.
  • You should now have the Utility Menu to reset the unit, add new accounts. adjust network info, etc.

How to unlock a cathedral electronic safe ea25

After opening the electronic safe (with the pre-set factory code of 159B) locate the small red button on the
inside of the door near the hinge.

2. Press the red button and then release it, you will hear a beep. DO NOT SHUT THE DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THAT YOUR NEW SECURITY CODE HAS BEEN ENTERED CORRECTLY.
3. With the door open, enter your own personal security code, which can be 3- 8 digits long, and confirm your new code by pressing the letter “B” on the electronic touch pad. Before you close the door, try the new security code to make sure the lock release the knob so you can turn it and retract the live action locking bolts.
If the code fails, go through steps 1-3 again. If the code works successfully, then you should lock the safe. When you open the safe in the future enter the security code you have set followed by the letter “B” and turn the knob.

If the incorrect security code is entered 3 times you will have an automatic lockout for 20 seconds before you can try your code again. If the incorrect security code is entered 3 additional times there will be a 5- minute lockout before the code can be tried again.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
This safe uses 4- AA batteries. Under normal use, batteries will last about 1 year. When the battery is low, a red light will come on warning you that the battery is low. To test the batteries, enter your security code. If the batteries are low the red light located in the middle of the top of the keypad will start to flash.

To replace the batteries, open the safe door with your security code and turn the knob. Push the batteries cover plate, which is located on the back of the door, and replace the old batteries.

YOU MUST PROGRAME YOUR SECURITY CODE AFTER YOU REPLACE THE BATTERIES. SEE STEPS 1- 3 UNDER “ENTERING YOUR SECURITY CODE”.
TROUBLE KEY
A “Trouble key” has been provided in case you forget or lose your security code. Remove the small central panel from the front of the faceplate. Insert the key and turn it counter clockwise. Then turn the knob on the door towards the right. This will manually open your safe. If you lose your key, you may purchase a replacement key by referencing the serial number located under the central panel by the lock.
MAINTENANCE FOR KEY AND ELECTRONIC SAFE
If the door of the safe starts to rub on the door frame, open the door per the instructions above. By the door hinges you will find a threaded stem. Use an Allen wrench to tighten the threaded stem. This will help realign the door and give you trouble free access to the contents of your safe.

Problem about remote access by phone or cell phone

You have the right info are you using the master code?

How to gain access to the Control Panel:
1. Call the panel and let the phone ring twice then hang up.
2. Wait at least 10 seconds and call the panel again. You may wait up to 40 seconds
before calling again.
3. The panel should answer on the first ring. You won’t hear any prompt when the
system answers.
4. Press the * button on your telephone and you will hear system activated.
At this point you may perform the actions listed in the following table of phone commands.
CODE refers to the master and access codes programmed into your system.

GE Simon3 Wireless Security system

If your problem ain't fixed and the system is not in the trashcan yet, try this:
Open panel and enter Utility access code (654321 / 54321 / 4321 / 321), mostly it's 4321, unless someone changed the code.
Unplug from powersource and unplug battery.

Now comes the fun part....

Press Cancel + Clock set + Minutes+ at the same time and restore the power with the battery.
If it says "Hello, System XX OK" you've reset the panel to factory settings and can set up the whole system from the beginning.

Don't have the access code

Do you mean the access code for turning off an alarm or arming the system before leaving? If so, NO. You would have to know the original code to even enter programming to change the access code. Contact your realtor and have them get you in contact with the previous owner. Find out the code from them. If they properly removed their code before moving from the house use the default code, 1234. Good Luck.
