Question about Motorola Mobility ROKR E6 Smartphone
Last Wed. my son was using his phone and it shut off. When trying to turn it on it will only display a M on the screen. I do not want to go through the painful work of sending it for repair through USCellular. Does anyone have any advice? This phone is only @ 6 months old.

OMG! I have the same story! I purchased this phone 6-7 months ago and about 2 weeks ago I was in the car and then all of the sudden it just turned off and I hit the power button to turn it on, and it got stuck on the M screen! I tried taking the battery out for a few mins and then tried and nothing happened! I put it on the charger when I got home and then tried again.
I took it to an altell stand in the mall, [they also cell the motorokr] and the guy tried a new battery.. but it didn't work!
I paid almost 300 dollars for the phone with my own money I saved up! [only 13 years old]
I will never spend that kind of money on a phone ever again =/
I have the phone sitting in front of me right now with the black background screen and a blueish/purple M symbol!
Is there like a button you can hold down to reset the phone or somthing?
I want to try to fix it b4 my dad goes and blows 200 dollars on the Samsung Messanger for metro pcs!

Hello everyone, I also have the same phone, and the same is happening to me, I've changed the phone 4 times in less than 3 months (Metro PCS carrier). My 16-year-old brother had almost the same problem with his RAZR 2 years ago, but he knew ho to fix it, so I gave him my phone everytime it freezed up. It seems the only way to fix this is:
take out memory card (if applicable)
take out the battery and put it on constantly.
If it doesn't work leave it charging for at least 1 hr. Then do all over again
you have to be real patient, it will take a while till it actually comes on.
UPDATE: I just fix my 4 and last phone, as of yesterday, while my cell was broken I switched to Sprint, and got me the new Samgsung Instinct S30
