The tube going from the ro cartridge is clogged or the drain tube going from the faucet to the drain p trap is clogged

I have installed many ro systems a=nd have had that problem Not only do youhave to replace the filters but make sure the drain hoses are clear

use a pipe cleaner or a a stiff wire
I also remove the connection going into the ptrap and clean back to faucet...it is usually real nasty

My Delta kitchen faucet is putting out small black particles with the hot water. What can I do to stop it?

Is the kitchen faucet the only problem? If not, then the water heater or other problem may exist in the water system.

When you run the hot water, are the particles always coming out or do they go away after while?

Black particles can be caused by carbon water filters. Do you have a filter? Those particles stop over time.

Washers and "O" rings that are wearing out can cause black particles. I would check under the sink to see if you have any slow drips. You may see white, green or black colors along the fittings.

I've also seen black particles from algae in the line. Maybe there's a leak somewhere in the system that dripping and cause the algae to form? Inspect your water lines and checking for leaks anywhere in the system may help. If you turn off all your faucets, washer, hose bibs and check the water meter, is it still moving? I'd check it every 15 minutes for an hour to see if there is a slow leak.

Here's a diagram that shows all the parts:

I'd also take out the aerator and see if it's clogged.

You may have to change the washers and "O" rings.

Hansgrohe 88509000 sink drain does not close completely, water slowly drains out

This could be caused by the installation. If the installer did not use plumber's putty between the the flange and basin it will not seal with the basin. Another possible cause is if the basin is not perfectly formed it will cause the flange to oval or not seat evenly. If this is the case it may leak between the flange and the basin or the stopper may not seat all the way down and it may leak between the stopper and flange.

I have a kitchen sink faucet that is leaking water from the back part of the faucet. There is a hole there and the faucet leaks water, when the water is on. Why is it doing this?

If it is a rusted hole get new faucet, but on many faucets that is where the Sprayer connects. Check for loose Sprayer hose at faucet under the sink.

Leaking faucet ff1280r846,1200r692underneath,when lever is open water is running below off spray nozzle..

hello. pull out the spray nozzle and turn on the water. The water is either leaking from the hose, or from the connection. If the hose has a hole in it you will have to replace it. If the connection is leaking, disconnect it [with the faucet off], put some teflon paste or teflon tape on the threads and reconnect it.

Reverse osmosis faucet is leaking through the aerator on the back. I does it whether the water is on or off. Any suggestions?

when was the last time you checked the filter,it may be time to change it,if you have changed it you may have inserted it backwards.turn it over and try,if that still does not work the check valve at the filter feed line may be clogged, flush line this may fix your problem.good luck with your project.

No water coming out of my filter faucet.

Okay.

Here is what I would suspect at this point:
------------------------------------------------------------

- Incorrect air pressure in tank, or

- Clogged filters

To check air pressure:
---------------------------------

Empty tank and check pressure -- it should be 7 PSI.

Note: There is a rubber bladder in the tank in which the water is stored -- if this bladder is ruptured, the air pressure in the tank will not hold.

So, adjust air pressure, try system again. If it works for a while and then stops, empty tank and check air pressure for 7 PSI.

Clogged filters?
----------------------

If the system doesn't work when tank pressure is adjusted, empty tank and check pressure again. If pressure is still 7 PSI, then replace filters.

If tank pressure is not 7 PSI at this juncture, it's probably a ruptured bladder and the tank will have to be replaced. But before you take that tack we should "talk" again.

Please let me know the results...

thanks

Charlie

--------------------

P.S. I'm assuming you have adequate water pressure on your household system. You're not noticing a drop in pressure anywhere else in the house -- is that correct?
