Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Fp3 player driver for windows 8

Unfortunately, your laptop probably has Windows 8 x64. Fisher Price never made drivers for any Windows 64 bit OS. If you had a 32-bit version of Windows, I'd suggest the Fisher Price Windows Vista and 7 software. It's available here: http://service.mattel.com/us/technicalproductdetail.aspx?prodno=K3420&siteid=27&catid=516 .

You could try upgrading to Win8 Pro and using Hyper-V to install a legal copy of XP 32-bit (if you can find one), then use the virtual copy of XP to connect to the FP3. (Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate offered Virtual PC with XP mode to get a copy of XP 32-bit without the expense of a licensed copy.) Otherwise, you need a computer with an older and 32-bit OS. However, 32-bit OS's are limited to a maximum of 3GB of memory.

I wish that I had better news for you.

This Fisher-price fp3 player doesn't work!!!!

For some reason it has become corrupt. You will have to reformat it. With the FP3 player connected using the usb cable, locate the FP3 player through the removable drives section on your computer. Then right click and select format. This will clean out/erase all files on your FP3 player. This should solve your problem.

How do you convert your own music (itunes) to FP3 format?

There's currently no converter available to convert from MP3 to FP3. Fisher Price wants you to download songs from them or simply just convert from existing CD's.

Until someone decides to make this converter I'm afraid you only have those two choices!

You could try burn CD's from iTunes if you downloaded the music & then rip them to FP3. Painfull but no other way just yet :(

FP3 PLAYER- TRANSFERRING MUSIC FROM PLAYLIST TO FP3 PLAYER

I had the same problem and when I spoke to Fisher Price they had me format the player. Very quick and simple. Go to My computer, Right Click on the Drive the player is on and click on format. I did not have any songs in my computer yet so I don't know if you will have to redownload them after formatting. The player works great now and my daughter loves it.

FYI- Software is not comaptible with 64 bit computers.

I/o error on a Fisher Price FP3 Player

I spoke with Fisher-Price today and the rep was very helpful. We had to reformat the player. I was able to do it all within 15 minutes on the phone with her and now our player is working great.

A couple items to look for when setting this up:

1. User listed on the FP3 player is the same as the administrator on your computer. You must be logged in as an admin.

2. Check which drive first comes up when you plug in your FP3 player. Then right click that drive-> format -> start (do not do a quick format).

Also, make sure you have enough space on your computer and your running on current drivers and removing devies appropriatly.

How do I activate fp3 player if I have windows vista is there a download or a fixc to the problem

Uninstall what you've installed from the software. It says right in the System Requirements Windows 2000 and XP. Fisher-Price has a Vista version that they can e-mail to you that'll work.
