With IBM Thinkpad,it telling you that some hardware is faulty, check your keyboard to make sure nothing is stuck. Also it could also be your trackpoint. Usually, replacing the damaged part gets rid of the error!
However there is a bypass key sequence that allows your to continue booting the system even though it gives you error. I'm not 100% sure of what it is but somthing like ESC at boot or F1 or maybe your need the boot to the error page then press ok, then when the system comes up again press f1 or esc then. You'll have to play around with the key sequence a bit.
But to get rid of the error forever you need to replace the damaged part!
