Question about Sony Handycam CCD-TRV11 8mm Analog Camcorder
I haven't used my samsung vp-d361 for a year or so and it displays '(eject symbol)...d'.
it won't load the tape. with a lot of persistance it might eventually load only to be told to eject the tape again. the battery is fully charged. i cant see a reset button anywhere.
i've done the suggested routine in the manual with no effect. is this
something i can sort myself?
it was working perfectly before i put it away for the year or so.

SOURCE: camcorder tape door opening
I had a problem the same as yours and I found the problem on the ribbon wire connected to the board where all the control button is located ( stop, rew, play, fwd pause). The problem occur because everytime you eject the tape from the loading mechanism the ribbon wire also move like your cutting it into pieces. sorry for my english hope you get the idea.... wait for the photo and i'll show you what i mean.. hope this will give you the solution you need.

I had the same problem. I took off the battery pack and wiped the it down with a kleenex as well as the socket in the camera where the battery pack connects to. This fixed the problem.

SOURCE: Tape wont play or eject.
i just read about this c:31:22 problem while looking for a solution to another problem I am having. Someone suggested removing the battery, switching the camera to the "camera" setting, and then turn it off, put the batter back in and it should work. Good luck.
