Installing evermore sa 320 smart receiver to lowrance 332c

i've repaird this by installing a secondary powerswitch and disconnecting the power switch on the keypad. It's an involved repair but it can be done.

This power cable splits into three ends: a power supply cable, a NMEA 2000 power cable, and a NMEA 0183 data cable. Check this reference diagram (click image for zoom)...

If the GPS works and sonar section does not work at all, check the followings.

1# Check the power cable's connection at the unit. Also check the wiring

2# Make sure the power cable is wired properly. The red wire connects
to the positive battery terminal, black to negative or ground
3# Check the fuse.

4# Measure the battery voltage at the unit's power connector. It should

be at least 10 volts. If it isn't, the wiring to the unit is defective, the

battery terminals or wiring on the terminals are corroded, or the battery
needs charging.
Check whether there have any wiring break, loose. During servicing the boat, there is chance to get the wiring of sonar to sonar sensor at the botom of the boat may have damaged. Check these. OK.

well, you should beging by doing a soft reset..hold the pages button down as you power up to do the soft reset. if problem persists, then you are most probably having a keypad problem.. some button is stuck and anything could cause that.. even moisture. i recommend you have it serviced by tech in this case.

I don't know whether you have made a factory reset to this device or not. If not, set it first and see whether it helps you. To make it factory settings:
[1] Press 'MENU""MENU" (down arrow to system setup) "ENT" (down arrow to RESET options/ ENT
[2] The unit asks if you want to reset all the options. Press [<---] to YES and then ENT. All options are reset, and the unit reverts back to map page at 4000 miles zoom range. Any recorded sonar logs of GPS data will be unchanged. OK.
