Make sure you've adjusted the Mix knob correctly. The Mix knob is above the Output knob. Turning it counter-clockwise allows you to hear more of your input and turning it clockwise lets you hear more of your playback. Try adjusting the knob clockwise to get more of your playback feed.

Can't hear playback through Headphone socket, only through speaker monitors!

i suggest you contact Behringer Customer Service for advixce. Without the setup in front of me, it's hard to figure out the wire routeing, switch positions, ect. that may be leading to this problem. As they would be the people most familiar with the gear, they'sd be the people to ask. http://www.music-group.com/support/behringer/askquestion

Cannot get audio playback through headphones. Playback is fine when listening through computer speakers, but not through 2i2.

What type of laptop is this, Windows or MAC? If Windows, go to Control Panel/Device Manager and make sure that your USB 2i2 interface is being detected as an external sound card. Then check the Sound Manager in Control Panel to make sure that the external sound card is selected as the playback device. Go back through the setup portion of the users manual. Windows does not necessarily 'remember' settings for devices when they are unplugged and then plugged back in again.

No playback through my headphones

Hi, You will need to follow a process of elimination, that way you can isolate problem. first thing you should do is turn every thing off and on. Hopefully windows sorts it all out for you.
If that don't work, plug headphones into a different Jack/usb port.
If that works, it means that you can now isolate problem to your sound card. Next step I would take is make sure sound card is seated in pci slot correctly. Nice and tight. Make sure you have used screw, this will ensure you have good Ground. If you still have no luck. Go to device manager, look for your card. If your card shows up in device manager, click on it to open up different drivers for it. By Right clicking on your card you can have the option to delete / Uninstall driver. Uninstall all the drivers for your card and restart computer. Windows will think It's new hardware and will reinstall drivers. I reckon this will work. The only other thing I can think of is to bring up playback devices on your system tray and make sure that it is actually set to playback on the device of your choice.

That should give you something to do for a while. Good luck.

No sound from the HDMI

This document pertains to HP or Compaq PCs with an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) connector for connecting a monitor or TV. If you use HDMI to connect your display, you must activate HDMI sound by adjusting your Windows settings . If HDMI is not activated, you cannot hear any sound. Because of this, HP recommends that you connect analog speakers to the computer to hear sound during the initial setup of the computer. Use the following steps to activate HDMI sound on your computer: NOTE: If you ever perform an HP system recovery, you must repeat this procedure to activate sound for the HDMI connector.
  1. Right-click the Volume icon by the time in the lower-right corner.
  2. Click Playback Devices . The Sound window opens.
  3. On the Playback tab, click Digital Output Device (HDMI) if it is listed. If it is not listed, click Realtek HDMI Output . Figure 1: Digital Output Device (HDMI) selectionc01503048.gif Figure 2: Realtek HDMI Output selectionc01063625.gif
  4. Click Set Default .
  5. Click Apply .
    • If you used Digital Output Device (HDMI) , click OK to close the window. This completes the steps to activate HDMI sound.
    • If you used Realtek HDMI Output , continue with Step 6.
  6. Double-click Realtek HDMI Output . The Realtek Digital Output Properties window opens.
  7. Click the Supported Formats tab.
  8. Place a check in the 48.0 KHz check box, and make sure that there are no checks in the Dolby Digital check box and all other check boxes. No sound in playback (but can hear click track)

This might seem simple, but just to check: you have switched off the monitor on the track when you go to playback? With track monitor engaged, you will not hear playback, but will continue to hear the live monitor.

Yamaha GO46 firewire audio interface

Hi. It might be a bit late, but the solution to your problem is the fact that the phones level is dependent on output 3-4. If you turn 3-4 all the way up you should be able to hear something. You might want to route all the outputs to the digital mixer.
