Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-32FS100 32" TV

1 Answer

Fluxuating Sound The sound fluxuates while watching anything. It gets really quite, so I turn the sound up then suddenly it increases to what I assume is the correct volume. I have quite a bit of experience sodering cards and connections. Could this be the problem? Thanks for the help. -Caleb

the speaker may have quit working. or possibly if the t.v has a headphone jack something may be in the hole causing te=he t.v to send audio to the jack instead of the speakers. if that is not it if you do have a jack for headphones you can plug in an adapter to hook up your media to an external speaker device, the first place to look is this jack, if no sound will come through your headphones either thanyou have an internal problem

Sounds like something in the sound output quit. If this is a very old set, it might be time to part ways with it.

My tv won't switch back on...can please somebody help me???

sounds like a power supply problem. The blinking sound could either be the relay or high voltage inside the picture tube and flyback transformer. Bottomline is, you would need to have it checked by a qualified tv tech.
