Have another no start up problem with another JVC 27" TV, this seems to be a consistant problem with these JVC tv's, this one only has a blinking LED Indicator when plugged in, I've practically rebuilt the Main PCB at this point with no luck, could it be one of the many surface mount components on the under side of the Main PCB? or is there something I'm missing here. The other one is a 26" JVC, an older model, with this one all I get is a steady glowing power indicator with no start up, stumped on this one as well, any help on either one would be appreciated.

You have to order the original factory remote in order to access the menus of this model of TV set. Contact the manufacture service rep for your area to order a remote.

You may also want to check the Vertical IC. In some units I've worked on, failure or cold solder in the vertical IC triggers protection.

Yep, been there done that, replaced it with a known good transformer, no luck.
