Run SetUpEditor to restore the list names L1, to L6
100->dim(L1) to set the dimension of L1 to 100
100->dim(L2) to set the dimension of L2 to 100.
Since you are going to store the random numbers in L1, you should use L2 as the FreqList. All elements of L2 should be 1. When you create it all its elements are 0. One way to fill it with 1's is 10 run the command

L2+1>L2; Add 1 to each number and store the results in L2 (overwrite the 0 values)
Perform a blank run of 1-var Stats to get the chance to set the default lists.

Type in your command

Use the Catalog to type in the 1-var Stats commnad so that you can type in the Lists L1 and L2 without opening the 1-var Stats configuration screen.
Do what you have to do with the statistics you generated.
To rerun the two commands again, press [2nd][ MODE] to (QUIT)
or press the sequence [2nd][ENTER] to have the last (ENTRY) echo on the main screen. Press ENTER to run again

You can't manipulate lists like that.

These will input your lists properly. I'm not sure what you're trying to do, but if you're just trying to divide every entry in L1 by 5 and store it in L3, you could accomplish that with:

{5,10,15,20,25}[STO>]L1
L1/3[STO>]L3

I do not understantd what you mean by the so on cells words.

1. To clear all lists

Press [2nd][CATALOG] to access the list of commands. Scroll down till the fat right arrow point to ClrAllLists. Press [ENTER][ENTER] to execute the command. Screen displays Done.

2. To clear the list L1 completely

Press [STAT][4:ClrList]; command echoe on main screen as ClrList . You must specify what list you want to clear. To clear L1, you insert at the place of the cursor L1 and press [ENTER]. But to insert L1, you press [2nd][1] (L1) and press [ENTER].

3. Clear L1 and L2 completely you do as in point 2.

Press [STAT][4:ClrList] [2nd][1] [,] [2nd] 2 (L2). On screen command appears as ClrList L1, L2. Press [ENTER] to execute it. Screen displays Done

4. To clear a number in a cell.

Press [STAT][1:Edit]. The list editor opens. Move cursor to the top of the list, say L1. and highlight the heading
The whole list appears on the commande/edit line.
Press [ENTER].
Cursor moves to the entry line where all elements on the list appear between { }.
Use the cursor to the value you want to remove and press [DEL]. Do not leave unneeded commas.

You will need to use L1 or L2 (one is probably on the front of the VCR, and the other on the back, they should be labeled).

YOu need to plug the digital receiver's output into L1, or L2, and set the VCR to record the one you're using. Then set it to the time you want, and then set the channel on the digital box tho the one you want.
