Question about Western Digital Elements powered by WD 320 GB External USB (WDE1U3200N) Hard Drive
Try going into the command prompt
start --> run --> cmd
type chkdsk /R drive:
where drive is the drive letter e.g. chkdsk /R f:
This can take a while but on a number of occasions is has saved an operating system and data.
Make sure if it works you copy the files immediately and get a new external drive
