How does one wire a 24 volt White-Rogers evaporative cooler controller replacement for an ancient mercury switched Honeywell controller?

Red wire, R with a jumper to RH
White , W
Green, G
Yellow, Y
Make certain you understand thermostats come setup for gas, so pay attention to what your heat/cool unit is, that's very important, also make sure to shut off the power to your system before removing the thermostat.

Need to know if you have central air as well. If you don't, then hook up the Red to R, White to W. you @ least have heat. any other wires you hook up will be dependent on what type of system you have ie boiler, forced air, etc.

I have a honeywell cm927 control unit, and the red light on the receiver keeps flashing. i can manually turn the boiler on and off at the HC6ONG receiver. i've tried the faqs in the manual but to no joy....

The red flashing light means that there is an issues with the RF comms between control unit and receiver. You can reset by switching the boiler off and back on and then re-sending the temperature signal. You need to check batteries in you thermostat and also the position as the signal could be interfered with or it may be too far away from the receiver.

Remote not workin

what's happened here is the cm61 ng and the reciver box have lost there connection you will have to "rebind" them then it will be fine -

THE BINDING OPERATION DESCRIBED BELOW IS REQUIRED IF:

· Any of the system components (room unit or relay box) are replaced

· HC60NG has incorrect or no binding data stored (e.g. when pre-bound system pack components have been mismatched)

· Interference with the RF signal has caused a communication failure

During the binding procedure keep approximately 1m distance between the room unit and the HC60NG

1 Turn off mains supply to HC60NG for 10 seconds. Re-connect supply.

2 Press and hold the HC60NG push button for 15 seconds to reset previously stored data. The red LED will start to flash at 0.1 s on/0.9 s off. Release the push button.

3 Press and hold the HC60NG push button for 5 seconds to enter the binding mode. Red LED flashing at 0.5 s on/0.5 off confirms the binding mode has been entered.

4 Move the CM67NG slider to the OFF position (CM61 push the OFF button) and press the TEMP , TEMP and PROG 1 buttons together. The CM61/67NG will display InSt.

5 Press the i button to send the binding signal. The red LED is switched off on the receiver box to confirm the successful binding operation. If the red light still flashes push the repeat steps 1-3 and press the the i button until binding is successful.

hope this is helpful

I installed the honeywell vista 15p and everything works, but I connected the comet pet PIR and can't get the led light to come on eventhough the system says ready. I'm not sure i connected it right. I...

Leave a short jumper wire between the tamper terminals.
Connect red to +12v and black to -12v on the Motion Detector.
Connect red to Terminal-5 and black to Terminal-4 on the Vista-15P

Connect Green & Yellow to the alarm terminals on the Motion Detector,
Connect Green & Yellow to the desired zone on the vista panel, be
sure to add in your EOL 2K resistor (if using them) in series along
either the Green or Yellow, preferably at the motion, but can be in the
panel box if it's not a "high security risk" install (most residential
systems have them in the box, although any security professional
will say it's not "proper" but go ahead and check other boxes, you'll see).
I think BRINKS is the only one to do the true "end of line" procedure,
but it's a royal pain in the @$$ if you ever change panel types, you have
to pull every wired sensor out just to change the resistors, and if it's a
prewire (put in when the house was built) it's nearly impossible without
rendering the wire run useless unless there's a lot of slack on the line.

Check your vista installers manual for the rest! Good luck!
