If you have the original windows vista OS cd you can boot up as though you are going to install the OS. It will then list the current windows installations on the system. Click on the one you are having problems with and click repair. This should fix the MBR info and other boot up problems.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Daemon tools lite cd key

Dear ghinea_denys, Daemon Tools Lite doesn't need any CD key if used for non-commercial use. It can be installed both as a Shareware and a Freeware. While you are using it for Commercial Use you have to activate the Paid License, and in that case you must provide it with a License Key. To use it for personal and non-commercial work, you should activate the Free License, which will help you install Daemon Tools Lite to your computer without any CD key.

You can download the latest Daemon Tools Lite 4.41.3 from the link below:

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/

N.B. : License key is also needed for using Daemon Tools Pro as full version.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

I want to install my 2007 word on my netbook (no cd-space) but with usb-stick its only a 3kb link, can i download a testversion and then use my product-key?

The product-key for MS Office (Student) will only work for a student edition of the software, and may not work for a student trial.
For an easy work around you can use "Daemon Tools" which is free software. With this program you can insert your MS Office Disk into another computer (with a CD drive) and essentially burn the disk to a file on your USB drive, and install it from the USB. 1: Download and install Daemon Tools. (Again it's free, do not pay for it) 2: Insert MS Office Student CD into CD ROM drive. 3: Open Daemon Tools. 4: Select "Burn Image From CD". 5: Select destination: USB Thumb Drive. 6: Insert USB drive into Netbook. 7: Open USB Drive. 8: Open Image file; Install Office as usual.
Daemon Tools is free and rather simple to use.

Eject button on Vaio won't work

t seems like people are having problems with getting the Fn Brightness and CD Eject Keys working when installing XP.

The following files and install method works here:

01. Install SFEP [AR51] (Right Click - Install SonyNC.inf)

02. Install Sony Shared Library [AR51] and Restart when prompted

03. Install Sony Utilities DLL & Settings Utility Series [BX4]

04. Install VAIO Event Service. Select Custom and Check VESUnique and Sound [BX4]

05. Copy AR51 Vista VESConfig.ini (from attached zip file) to folder C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Event Service

06. Start - Run services.msc

07. Find Vaio Event Service in the Services list and Restart the Service.

Your Fn and EJECT Buttons should now work.

Missing dvd drive

I'm not familiar with daemon tools, but check what Device Manager (right click My Computer, Manage, then Device Manager)things about your drive. If it shows up incorrectly there, try deleting it, then rebooting or doing a "scan for hardware changes". And it's always a good idea to go to the manufacturer's website and checking for updated drivers, I've noticed especially with laptops, they come out ALL the time. Good luck!
