Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
Cingular wants to replace my phone. so I had to get a loaner phone (for $40), and they put my sim card, and now I realize that my sim basically doesn't have crap on it. I just want my phone to work! I took the sim card out of the loaner, put it back into my rzr to see if I could try out some of the other suggestions, and now the sim card won't budge and I HATE THIS STUFF!!! ok. my rant is over. i'll try to outline my problems neatly and without rancor... 1. how do I remove my sim card (it's not in correctly, because the phone keeps saying I need to put it in...), without destroying any of the guts of my phone. 2. and once I get the sim card removed and put back in correctly, is there any solution to the phone not letting my use any button other than off? at the store, they said it was a software problem. frankly, I don't care, and i don't want a new phone. i want my phone to work. 3. and if I can't make it work, is there still any possible way of getting my images and phone book out of the old phone before the new one arrives? thanks in advance.
Ok first off I would have to know how you put your sim card in wrong to help you get it out. If it really is stuck you will need a proffesional to take the phone apart. As for the software problem on your phone you could go to the motorola website and download the software to upgrade the software in your phone. you will need a data cable to do this but it could come in handy anyway cause that is also how you will get the pictures, files, and phonebook contacts off your old phone. Also, if updating your software that way doesn't fix it you could also take it to someone who can unlock phones and have them flash new firmware onto the phone and that should solve the problem.
