Dear Sir, My parents have a President Double Oven Model SB431. It only has fan assisted oven, not conventional use. Is it possible to disconnect the fan so making it a normal oven?

It was as simple as the expert advised me.

Having removed the back panel on the cooker, the fan cover was removed and the electrical connection cut.

The fan no longer runs, and the oven is now a conventional oven again.

problem solved:)

MY OVEN GETS HOT IN CONVENTIONAL MODE BUT DOESN'T IN FAN ASSISTED MODE

If the fan is working o/k, then it is going to be the element that is faulty.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover, it is a round element

ZUQ 875X double oven. When fan oven is selected, fan operates but oven does not heat up. Ok on conventional oven selection.

If fan is working ok, then I would suyggest that you check the fan oiven element, as it it sounds as though this is faulty.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Changing an element on the main oven - Neff U1721 Double oven

You should not need to remove fan to access the element fixing scew(s).
You may need what is called a torx screwdriver, if the screws are conventional screws, but some times a small screwdriver will undo them if they are not too tight.
let me know if you require any more assistance.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Oven thermostat

Hi Andew 799.
It sounds to me like your oven element(s). is faulty
If it is a fan assisted oven then you should check that first. You will need a multimeter to test it.
If it is a conventional oven, then it will have 2 side elements, and it is possible one has gone, thereby only giving you half heat.
The other possibility is a faulty thermostat probably cutting off prematurely.
You must check the elements first.
Hopr this helps.
Good luck.

Electrolux built in wall oven, lights and digital display work fine, fan works fine, but the oven will not heat regardless of the mode (broil, bake, convention roast, convection bake)

Hello stevefer
Welcome.

You said, Your Electrolux built in wall oven, lights and digital display work fine, fan works fine, but the oven will not heat regardless of the mode (broil, bake, convention roast, convection bake)

First,
1.What is the Model Number and the year of your wall oven?
2.Did the oven light up and display with any error codes?
3. Did you try to turn the breaker off for 5 minutes to see if this will reset the system?

Perhaps the heating element is failing and may need to be replaced.
I will be able to better assist you when you reply with this information.
Waiting your response.
